Quantum Innovators

QuTech industry partners
QuTech is a mission-driven research institute founded in 2015 by Delft University of Technology and the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO). They have built strong collaborations with industry partners to support their mission of developing scalable quantum computers and a quantum internet. Together, they drive innovation, create test beds, build essential systems, expand the supply chain, and develop new applications, products and services.

Fujitsu
QuTech and Fujitsu have joined forces to accelerate the development of modular quantum computers, combining QuTech’s world-class expertise in quantum computing and communication with Fujitsu’s leading-edge R&D and quantum-inspired technologies.

Intel
Intel and QuTech have a long-standing collaboration, having worked together intensively on quantum research, with a focus on creating a working and scalable quantum computer, since 2015. This partnership—combining Intel’s technological expertise with QuTech’s pioneering quantum science—has achieved several milestones, including the creation of the first industrially manufactured qubit within Intel’s chip facilities, published in Nature Electronics (2022).

Bluefors
Bluefors is the world leader manufacturer of cryogenic measurement systems, cryocoolers and other cryogenic product lines for quantum technology, fundamental physics research and other key industries such as medical and life sciences.
Delft born spinouts from QuTech & TU Delft
The spinout companies that emerged from QuTech and TU Delft, have become key players in the growing quantum technology landscape. Built on leading research and strong collaboration between academia, industry and government, they are advancing quantum computing, communication and sensing.
We are proud to have eight pioneering companies—Qblox, Quantware, Single Quantum, Qphox, Delft Circuits, Orange Quantum Systems, Qbird, and Groove—that originated from the fertile grounds of research labs, engineering groups, and PhD projects.
These innovative ideas were nurtured with the support and resources of the Quantum Delta Delft ecosystem, all driven by a shared mission: to translate groundbreaking laboratory discoveries into real-world applications. Together, they are expanding the quantum frontier, making it accessible to a growing community of people and disciplines.
House of Quantum members
House of Quantum is where the quantum community comes together
The House of Quantum is the physical heart of this ecosystem. It is an open meeting place around quantum technology where various functions are integrated: space for scientists, startups and the business community, combined with rooms for meetings and interaction
Below are some of the companies that are already part of its fast-growing community.
